I am Dr Vishwanath Bite, teaching in the Government of Maharashtra’s Rajaram College, Kolhapur. Besides being a full-time teacher, I am interested in translation, photography, farming, web designing and content creation. Lately, I have started a YouTube channel to reach beyond classroom walls and teach students across the globe. I also have edited six reference books for Teachers, Research Scholars and Students of English Literature, especially on Indian Writing in English. I have been teaching English Language and Literature to undergraduate and postgraduate classes since 2006. Besides being a Ph.D. Supervisor, I am also a recognized PG teacher. Along with teaching-learning activities in the college, I am Co-ordinator of Competitive Exam Guidance Cell and Associate NCC Officer.

I started The Criterion: An International Journal in English in 2010 and published poetry, short stories, academic articles, research papers, book reviews, and author interviews. I have interviewed notable Indian Writers like Anita Nair, Kavery Nambisan, Chitra Banerjee-Divakaruni, Mahesh Dattani, Manohar Shetty, K. Satchidanandan, Abhishek Majumdar, to name a few for The Criterion.

In 2012 I started another publishing venture, Galaxy: International Multidisciplinary Research Journal, to publish interdisciplinary research articles.
